Up For A Chat: Marketers Find Chatbots To Be Most Impactful AI Use (New Report)

A new report focused on marketers’ priorities and challenges around the digital experience is backing up some of the AI findings I’ve recently written about, from top current use-cases to overall importance in engagement moving forward.

The DX Vision 24 Report from Sitecore and Advanis found that chatbot is the most impactful use-case for AI in the digital experience (for 38% of marketers), followed by personalization (36%), and brand intelligence (33%). And while 80% said AI was critical for the digital experience over the next year, only a little more than a quarter (27%) say they’ve fully integrated it into their workflows.

“Through this research, it’s clear that marketing leaders understand the diverse factors that drive their ability to create and deliver standout digital experiences,” says Kathie Johnson, Sitecore CMO, in the report’s press release. “Outstanding experiences must be built on solid strategic and technological foundations, yet many marketers are having a hard time finding the right mix to enable them to deliver excellence.”

As for the tools that are being used, a customer data platform and analytics tools topped the list (for 37%, each), with digital asset management tools (36%), automation tools (34%) and content management system (34%) rounding out the top five.

“Marketers are prioritizing tools that enable better data-driven decisions, digital asset management, and content management,” the report says. “These findings demonstrate that a wide range of connected tools and platforms are needed to deliver standout DX in modern environments.”
